When and why was the company/brand founded?

Chaidim is a brand powered by E.L.F.B. (Thailand) Co. Ltd., it was founded on December 2013 by a two tea-addicted, heavy Oolong drinkers, to promote a healthy lifestyle selling flavorful Oolong tea from Thailand worldwide.

Long story short, while any other baby boy was fed with milk, our mother gave us Ceylon tea with a pinch of sugar, nursing our childhood with love and tea. Since these days, we kept exploring the world with avid tea curiosity, brewing black, green, white, red, rare, organic, aged, herbal ....

Today, Chaidim is our way to share our tea passion and give back what we have experienced. For us, tea is like wine, it has traditions, terroirs, rich flavors, distinct aromas. Tea makes us feel good, healthy, makes us curious, creative. Tea can be shared, enjoyed, remembered. Tea is also art; for its sumptuous vessels, where it brews, opening the doors to passionate interpretation, its color, its bouquet, its taste. With grace, tea puts all our senses at work.

What makes this brand/company special or unique?

Based in Thailand, we are all about Oolong tea. Organic and Tasty.

Our Oolong teas are from Northern Thailand and sourced directly from the tea farmers, single estate and small producers, with no intermediaries in between. We propose several Oolong varieties such as special Oriental Beauty, Golden Oolong, organic Gabaron tea, Ruby Oolong, and many more all handcrafted by experienced tea masters.

Our strength, we live here, next to the tea fields, our focus, selecting great teas and share them with tea lovers. How do we do it ? Simple, we have our way: we work with farmers, we visit the fields, we spend time in the mountains, we choose flavorful leaves, artisan type tea, handmade, organic, we brew them, we enjoy them, we love them, and we ship them to you.

Are there any things you are doing to promote sustainability?

At Chaidim, we insist on sustainability because we sincerely believe in the consumption of healthy products, free from pesticides and harmful chemicals. All our Oolong teas are certified organic by the Thai Ministry of Agriculture, Halal certified and USDA Approved by One Cert.

In the world of tea, Thailand has now a lot to offer. Each tea house has his own tea master, descendant of great tea cultivators from Taiwan and China. The obtained Oolong are wonderful and have nothing to envy to their neighbors. All the teas proposed are produced in complete harmony with nature and always with the idea of sustainability in mind. No machine is used in the tea fields, all teas are handpicked, leaving the soil and the environment unspoiled.

To say even more, here, no exploitation, no pesticides, no chemicals, no harm, only the mountains, a wild green nature, essential insects, and a real passion for tea, transmitted from three generations of tea farmers.

The new generation has now taken into account all the essential factors such as the topography, how to properly manage the soil and protect its qualities, the varieties characteristics and suitability to the site, the climate and of course their lifestyle choices. Growing organic and sustainable is their motto, thankful to them, brewing tasty and drinking healthy is ours.
