Questions about Earl Grey Black Tea, triangle teabags

What is bergamot in Earl Grey tea?

Bergamot is a fragrant citrus fruit, and its aroma is what defines Earl Grey. In Chaidim Earl Grey Black Tea, bergamot is blended with organic black tea from Northern Thailand, giving a natural black tea flavour lifted by a fresh citrus scent. It is why Earl Grey smells so bright the moment hot water touches the teabag.

Can you put milk in Earl Grey tea?

You can. Chaidim Earl Grey Black Tea is bold enough for a small splash of milk, which softens the citrus into a creamy, rounded cup. Many tea lovers prefer it plain or with a little honey so the bergamot aroma stays bright. Try it both ways: brew the teabag for 4 to 5 minutes first, then decide.

How do I make iced Earl Grey tea?

Brew one Chaidim Earl Grey teabag in 200 ml of boiling water for 4 to 5 minutes, sweeten while warm if you like, then let it cool and pour over plenty of ice. A slice of lemon or orange echoes the bergamot nicely. In the Thai heat, iced Earl Grey makes a fragrant, refreshing afternoon glass.

Earl Grey or English Breakfast: which should I choose?

Pick Chaidim Earl Grey if you love fragrance: organic black tea from Northern Thailand with a fresh bergamot citrus aroma, lovely plain through the day. Pick English Breakfast Black Tea if you want a richer, more robust Assam cup that pairs with a hearty breakfast and takes milk and sugar easily.

Does Earl Grey Black Tea, triangle teabags contain caffeine?

Contains caffeine. Like all teas from Camellia sinensis, it contains natural caffeine; a cup in the morning or early afternoon suits most people.
